“ This review is directed almost entirely toward my salesman, Matthew Didomenico. Before posting this, I gave him every opportunity to address my concerns directly, but he has refused to do so. I traveled 5.5 hours via three different trains to purchase a used vehicle from Lexus of Southampton. Matthew was professional and decent to deal with—right up until the paperwork was signed and I drove 200 miles home. Had Matthew followed through on his word, this review would look very different. As a condition of the sale, he committed to fixing a water leak and changing the oil. After the sale, I discovered that neither had been done; the vehicle is still leaking, and I later learned the oil was never changed. While I am currently working with the General Manager, Tim, to resolve the leak, the initial excitement of this purchase has turned into genuine regret. I knowingly paid a premium for this car because I believed I was dealing with a reputable salesman at a trustworthy dealership. However, based on Matthew’s dismissive post-sale response, I no longer find him to be either. In fairness, Tim has committed to making sure the leak is addressed, and I am holding out hope that the dealership will make this right. That said, Matthew’s actions were unprofessional and a complete 180-degree turn from the friendly persona he presented when he was trying to close the deal. I have purchased over 25 cars in my life, and my experience with Matthew is by far the worst and most confusing. How can someone with some may good reviews, friendly and knowledgable, have such little regard for accuracy and doing what you say you're going to do? In business, mistakes happen. Often, a sincere apology and a genuine interest in fixing the problem are all it takes to make things right. Unfortunately, Matthew has yet to learn this. He is still stuck on deflection, excuses, and minimization. Should Matthew or the dealership wish handle things differently with me, I'm open to it and will amend this review. ”
“ I really thought I found my dream car CLS Mercedes-Benz 2019 after purchase the car three months later check engine light came on. I brought it back to the dealership they fixed it I let him know that it was also some rubbing and squeaking noise from the front area now It came up on the dash that the back light bulb is out. I haven't even had the car for six months. ”
Absolute Nightmare to Deal with.
“ Absolute Nightmare to Deal with. RUN AWAY FAST! I bought a used bmw for sale through this dealer and it was going smooth, their sales manager Abbas did a video walkthrough(on jan 27th 2025) with me(have the videos saved) where he said there are "the driver's side is good, no dings or scratches or anything and the body lines are great". Fast forward to getting the car and there are DEEP scratches that no reputable dealer would ever sell a car with. Abbas calls me at 6:28pm on 2/4/25 apologetic and says that this must have happened after the video walkthrough, and that he will go investigate and make it right. Seemed like it was going well Was quoted ~$1300 to get these scratches repaired, so I text Abbas and he has a tone change and points me to Chad Israel, their General Sales Manager, who starts treating me horribly immediately and says its my fault that their sales manager misled me in the video. We tried to have an adult phone call(all recorded) on Feb 6th at 11:30am, where Chad could't be an adult and started screaming then hung up on me. Talk about great customer service! Run run away, im talking to lawyers now, unless this dealership decides to make this right. ”
